Young Hawks Are Hungry

The other day this lovely immature Cooper’s Hawk visited my yard. He or she was not the least bit disturbed by our presence. What have you seen lately?

It’s nice to see this immature Cooper’s Hawk! I had a beautiful Red-tail Hawk fly over my house. I did manage to get some shots! Yesterday, I saw a Western Tanager in a Russian Olive tree across the street from me. Two days ago a pair of Black-headed Grosbecks were in my yard. Two female Broad-tailed Hummers have been around for a month.
